The invitation cup
Quarter finals to be played no later than Dec 11th.
Item 5
Players Registration
Before any player can join the Club/ team St Joseph’s that is signed for another team. The manager must contact the club in question and inform them of the move.
Procedures set out by the league for transfers must be followed.
Item 6
County and District cup competitions
These will be played between Nov 6th – 20th.
Item 7
Respect Program and future conduct plus child welfare reports.
All managers to read rules regarding fixtures and the running of fixtures.
1/ The club name and location (Kick off time).
2/ Advise on team colours (avoid clash).
3/ Arrange referee and take name.
4/ Keep contacts at hand just in case of bad weather and postponed games. Make a decision early to save teams travelling for nothing.
5/ Registration cards must be shown and players to shake hands before and after the game.
6/ Respect barriers must be used, and player’s parents/spectators support referees decisions.
Team sheets.
These must be filled out correctly signed by both managers and the referee. They must then be sent to league secretary.
Misconduct.
Any misconduct must be reported to the league and backed up with letter on club headed paper.
Inform parents and players of online respect certificate and encourage taking part.
Fixture cancellations.
Must fill out C10 and this must be sent 7 days in advance of fixture. But do make every effort to play games.
Item 8
Management meeting business
From 2011-2013 instead of 11 aside 9 aside will be introduced. This will start next season! So the now u10s next year will play 9 aside football.
Main problems foreseen would be pitch availability, and the pitch size 80x80. Because of this the league are looking to introduce football centres, one in Barnsley and one in Pontefract, games to be played on Saturdays! Watch this space.
